About

Hello I’m Fisher!

I am a small-town girl who grew up on a farm in Farmington, NM. At a young age, I learned the value of hard work and pushing my limits through activities like dance and 4-H. I am a third-generation 4-H’er and completed 12 successful years in the program. While in 4-H, I have had the opportunity to serve on many leadership teams in various roles from the club, county, and state levels. My most outstanding leadership achievement was serving as a State 4-H leadership team member in the role of Song and Recreation Leader.

In 2018, I began attending New Mexico State University and majored in Agricultural Education. However, I quickly learned that my passions lie elsewhere. In 2019, I took a leap of faith and switched my major to Agricultural Communications. I now know this is the degree I was meant to have. I have learned more about my passions and what I want to do through this degree path. And with my major, I have also chosen to minor in Communication Studies and Journalism and Mass Communication.

Along with school and 4-H, I love photography, reading, hiking, and learning new things about the world around us. I am deeply interested in art and science, so museums are one of my favorite activities. Museum visits also help to spark creativity and think critically about my own art.

My professional values are honesty and determination. It is important, to be honest with what your limitations are as a professional in what you can create. I want to let my client know that I will push my creative ability limits but will not get their hopes up. And determination is also important to continue to work when things become difficult or complicated.
